Our story – where it all began 👉

In 2014, Starshipit's journey began when George Plummer, a developer by trade and the founder of Starshipit, crossed paths with Alex Webster, the owner of Coast New Zealand. Alex, who sold both online and in-store, faced the challenges of managing multiple courier companies and their disparate systems. The process of printing shipping labels and handling fulfilment was manual, time-consuming, and overwhelming.

George's solution was to create a unified platform that seamlessly integrated with various eCommerce platforms and supported multiple carriers. The vision was to simplify and accelerate the shipping and fulfilment process, making it faster and more efficient.

Fast forward to today, and Starshipit has evolved into a comprehensive solution automating every aspect of fulfilment, from label generation to customs documentation, while enhancing the overall customer experience.

Starshipit HQ is based in Auckland, but our team is dotted throughout NZ, Australia, and even Buenos Aires!
