A much-loved UI 2.0 feature is now available in the Classic UI! Tags allow you to add customised labels to your orders, making it easier to identify important details about different orders. For example, you might add âhigh priorityâ, âfragileâ, âpre-orderâ or âout of stockâ tags.
Weâve made some improvements to our recommended packaging feature. If you havenât used it before, this handy feature matches the dimensions of items within an order with your configured packages, automatically selecting the best size package every time. Itâs a great way to reduce packaging and save costs.
Use our Shopify App? This one is for you. We've released a new 'Checkout Delivery Options' UI extension for our Shopify app. Shopify is deprecating the use of checkout.liquid so we've created this extension to ensure seamless customisation of your checkout process.
Now in Classic UI, you can import Shopify tags into Starshipit and have them appear within the orders grid. You can enable this option from Shopify by heading to Settings > Integrations > Shopify Settings > Advanced and enabling the setting there.
Weâve introduced several new optional columns to the Orders Grid in the Classic UI, allowing you to quickly see more details about your orders without needing to open each one individually.
You can now add the following columns to the New tab of the Orders Grid:
We have also made more columns in the Orders Grid in the Classic UI optional, meaning you can hide columns you previously couldn't to better suit your needs.

Weâre always improving our 30+ carrier integrations â and this month our team added a lot of useful functionality to UPS, in addition to getting Starshipit UPS Ready!
Hereâs an overview of whatâs new with UPS:
Hereâs a cool one â Deliver In Person is a brand new carrier integration for Starshipit, with a mission to ensure reliable, customer-centric deliveries. Focusing on same-day and next day delivery, Deliver In Person are also capable of reverse logistics, plus real-time tracking and pick ups from DCs and stores.
Right now, Deliver In Person focuses on Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and offers simple flat rates with generous volume rebates.
Elevate your fleet management with Locate2u â a new integration for Starshipit. Locate2u enables real-time tracking of your vehicles, route optimisation, and the ability to provide precise ETAs to customers. The result? A platform to seamlessly manage your delivery process and boost customer satisfaction.
Mainfreight 2Home is a delivery service designed for medium to large items and focused on sending them to home addresses or businesses.
Starshipit now integrates seamlessly with Mainfreight 2Home, enabling you to automatically assign orders from your sales channels to Mainfreight, schedule pickups, send order notifications and more.
Highlights of this service include:
Do you ship prescription medications? You can now simplify the process using Rendr and Starshipit. This update means you can ship prescription medications using the item_schedule_class product types.
Oh, and you can now also use Rendr services in NZ!
Starshipit now supports the ability to set your shipment as âXLâ when it exceeds standard dimensions and weight with NZ Post Domestic.
This means you can correctly assign XL to non-standard packages, helping you avoid penalties for not declaring that a shipment is outside standard dimensions or weight limits.
Starshipit now supports dangerous goods with TNT. You can add and manage dangerous goods in your TNT courier settings, right from within Starshipit.
