Starshipit is one of 10 Absolute IT Supreme Scale-Ups in the 2026 TIN Report, announced at the report's launch on 5 November. It's the second year in a row we've made the list.

Drawing on surveys of more than 1,300 firms, the TIN Report ranks New Zealand's 200 highest-revenue technology companies. The Supreme Scale-Ups are the 10 companies from its "Next 100" that added the most revenue over the past year. Being named twice means that growth has held for two years running.

Automating the work behind every order

Starshipit takes the manual work out of shipping, from choosing the right carrier to printing the label. More than 30,000 users, including customers of our white-label partners, rely on our multi-carrier shipping software to get orders out the door.

Retailers and 3PLs connect their carriers and sales channels, set rules that choose the right carrier and service for each order, and print labels in batches rather than one at a time. They choose which carriers to use and bring their own negotiated rates, with no extra fees for using them.

That matters most at this time of year. Peak puts every part of shipping under pressure, and our platform and local support team are built for the busiest days.

Extending into fulfilment

As retailers grow, shipping is rarely the only thing getting more complex. More orders, more SKUs and more locations put pressure on the warehouse, and selling overseas brings duties and taxes into the picture.

This year, we extended Starshipit to match. Our warehouse management system brings stock, picking, packing and dispatch into the same platform as shipping. Landed cost support lets retailers calculate and collect duties and taxes at checkout, so international customers aren't hit with a surprise bill on delivery.

George Plummer

"Two years in a row as a Supreme Scale-Up is a credit to our team and our customers. We now process more than 150 million shipping labels a year, and we've got here without venture capital. Our customers told us their problems often started before the label, in the warehouse. So that's where we built next. We want to be the platform growing retailers and 3PLs turn to as their operations get more complex."

Agile from day dot

Starshipit started in 2014, when our Founder and CEO, George Plummer, set out to solve one retailer’s shipping problem. We’ve worked the same way ever since: understand the operation, build quickly and keep raising the bar. eCommerce moves fast, so we do too. This recognition belongs to our team, our partners and all our customers. Thank you to TIN and Absolute IT, and congratulations to every company named in this year’s report.
