From two clients at launch to six active clients, Australian 3PL SkuPoint Logistics has tripled its client base while maintaining 99.95% fulfilment accuracy.
With Starshipit WMS, the team manages approximately 8,700 SKUs across businesses with very different fulfilment requirements, from swimwear and phone accessories to bulky products.
By building barcode scanning, inventory management and shipping into its operations from day one, SkuPoint Logistics has established consistent warehouse processes to support its growth.
99.95%
fulfilment accuracy — Just two errors across 3,663 dispatched orders.
200%
client growth — From two to six active clients since launch.
8,700
active SKUs managed — Across one multi-client warehouse operation.
From phone accessories and swimwear to padel equipment and bulky household goods, SkuPoint Logistics handles products with very different storage, picking and shipping requirements.
For founder and operations manager Carlos Pardo, that variety was part of the plan.
When SkuPoint launched with two clients, Carlos chose to build the warehouse around Starshipit WMS from the beginning. Rather than introducing separate processes for every new brand, he wanted one consistent way to manage stock, fulfil orders and give customers visibility of their inventory.
SkuPoint now serves six active clients and manages approximately 8,700 active SKUs within one warehouse operation. Across 3,663 orders dispatched since launch, the business has recorded just two fulfilment errors.
“As we add customers, we can bring them into an existing operational framework rather than creating a completely new process for every brand.”
Carlos Pardo, Founder & Operations Manager, SkuPoint Logistics
As a new 3PL, SkuPoint had an opportunity to establish its warehouse processes before its customer base grew. Carlos wanted scanning and stock visibility built into daily operations from the outset, rather than relying on manual processes that might become difficult to manage at higher volumes.
“Because SkuPoint is a relatively new 3PL, we had the opportunity to build the warehouse around scanning and WMS processes from the beginning rather than having to migrate away from spreadsheets and manual processes later.”
Carlos Pardo, Founder & Operations Manager, SkuPoint Logistics
That decision shaped how SkuPoint would receive stock, manage inventory and dispatch orders for multiple clients.
Each new SkuPoint client brings different products, inventory data and fulfilment requirements.
With everything from small accessories to bulky household goods moving through the same warehouse, Carlos needed a way to keep stock records organised and processes consistent across brands.
One customer presented a particularly complex requirement: approximately 8,000 product bundles that needed to be configured before fulfilment could run smoothly. Carlos estimated that handling the setup manually could have taken days or weeks.
As order volumes grow, so does the importance of getting each step right.
SkuPoint needed reliable processes for receiving stock, picking the correct items and preparing orders for dispatch. The business also wanted to support same-day dispatch for orders received before its cut-off time. For a 3PL, fulfilment accuracy and dependable dispatch are essential to maintaining customer trust.
SkuPoint's clients also need confidence in the stock they have entrusted to the warehouse.
That means being able to check inventory information without requesting manual updates from the operations team. Shipping costs create another challenge. For one customer selling bulky products, freight charges vary significantly by delivery postcode. A flat shipping charge can leave the retailer absorbing more of the cost for certain destinations.
Starshipit WMS gives SkuPoint a structured way to manage different clients' products and stock within the same warehouse operation.
Its bundle and kit capabilities also help the team handle more complex product requirements.
When a client needed approximately 8,000 bundles configured, Carlos worked with the Starshipit team to set up the requirement. He says the combination of WMS flexibility and Starshipit's support enabled the setup to be completed in around a day.
“For one client, we needed to manage approximately 8,000 bundles. With the support of the Starshipit team and the flexibility of the WMS, we were able to get the setup completed in around a day rather than turning it into a manual project that could have taken days or weeks.”

SkuPoint uses barcode scanning throughout its warehouse process, from receiving stock to picking orders and dispatching parcels.
These checks help connect the physical item being handled to its warehouse record, giving staff opportunities to identify mismatches before an order leaves.
By using repeatable, scan-led workflows, the team can maintain a consistent approach to fulfilment as it manages different clients and products.
Starshipit WMS gives SkuPoint's clients access to key stock and product information, including quantities on hand, SKUs, dimensions, weights and inventory status. That visibility helps clients answer routine inventory questions without needing to contact the warehouse for every update.
SkuPoint also uses Starshipit's connected shipping tools to address specific customer requirements.
For one bulky-goods customer, postcode-based shipping rules help account for destinations where freight costs are higher, supporting more appropriate shipping charges.
“For us, a WMS isn't only about improving warehouse efficiency. It helps give our customers confidence that their inventory is being properly controlled and that they have visibility of what is happening with their stock.”
Carlos Pardo, Founder & Operations Manager, SkuPoint Logistics
Since launching with two clients, SkuPoint has grown to serve six active businesses while managing approximately 8,700 SKUs.
Rather than creating a separate warehouse process for every customer, the team can bring new requirements into its established WMS workflows. The setup of approximately 8,000 bundles in around a day is one example of how that approach helps SkuPoint handle complex onboarding requirements. For Carlos, having a repeatable operational framework is an important part of preparing the business for further growth.
Across 3,663 orders dispatched since launch, SkuPoint has recorded just two fulfilment errors — approximately 99.95% fulfilment accuracy.
Carlos also reports that orders received before approximately 12:30 pm are generally dispatched the same day, with weekends being the main exception. These results reflect SkuPoint's warehouse processes and team execution, supported by Starshipit WMS. Together, they demonstrate how the business is maintaining fulfilment standards while serving a growing client base.
SkuPoint's customers can access stock and product information directly, giving them greater visibility into what the warehouse holds. Connected shipping tools also help address the commercial details that matter to individual clients.
For one bulky-goods retailer, postcode-based shipping rules help the business charge more appropriately for expensive delivery destinations.
For another customer, Carlos estimates that SkuPoint's negotiated courier rates can save approximately $4–$5 on certain Sydney parcels compared with the rates the customer previously accessed. These savings are specific to the customer's former rates and applicable shipments.
“For the customer, the benefit is not simply operational efficiency. It helps protect their margin. Rather than absorbing expensive freight charges for certain destinations, they can now price shipping more accurately for those areas.”
Carlos Pardo, Founder & Operations Manager, SkuPoint Logistics
For Carlos, building SkuPoint around Starshipit WMS was about more than managing stock and dispatching orders. It was about establishing a warehouse operation that could accommodate different clients, maintain accurate fulfilment and give brands confidence in the way their inventory is managed.
With six active clients, thousands of SKUs and connected warehouse and shipping workflows, SkuPoint has built an operational foundation to support its next stage of growth.
